Land at Gaggal. Settle into Dharamkot by lunch.

  1. Mumbai & Bengaluru → Delhi

    Connecting hop. Both fly into IGI Terminal 3, layover ~90 min.

  2. Delhi → Gaggal (DHM)

    IndiGo 6E ✶ · 11:35 → 13:00. Window seat left side for the Dhauladhar reveal on descent.

  3. Cab to Dharamkot

    Forty minutes through Kangra valley pine. The road past McLeod Ganj market gets steep — driver should know it.

  4. Check in · Norbu House or Pomo Suites

    Drop bags. The verandah faces the Dhauladhars. Lunch on it.

  5. Dharamkot lanes walk

    Past Trek & Dine, the Goenka vipassana hill, into the village proper. Cafés are everywhere.

  6. Dinner at Trek & Dine

    Wood-fired pizzas, Israeli plates, mountain view from the rooftop.

    5km up, ~3.5h. Pace easy. Water at Magic View Café midway.

  2. Triund top · 2,875m

    The Dhauladhar wall is right there. May still has snow patches near Snow Line. Maggi at the dhaba.

  3. Descent

    Knees take the brunt — go slow.

  4. Hot bath at Norbu

    You earned it.

  5. Dinner at Lung Ta

    Japanese plates in McLeod. Surprising, perfect.

Skip-trek alternative: Gyuto Monastery in the morning, Norbulingka Institute and the tea garden in the afternoon, hot stone massage at Aroma in the evening.

  3. Drive up to Billing take-off (2,400m)

    45-minute climb on a narrow road. Pre-booked tandem operator. ₹3,000–3,500 pp.

  4. Tandem flight

    30–45 minutes. Land in the Bir meadow — 1,400m descent. GoPro extra ₹500.

  5. Lunch at Avva’s Café

    Bir’s most-loved café. Pasta, pancakes, fresh coffee.

  6. Cycle to Chokling Monastery

    Or walk. Bir is small. Sunset at the landing meadow — paragliders coming in like coloured leaves.

  7. Dinner at Garden Café

    Lit lanterns, tibetan thalis, end-of-trip pace.

    Past Sherab Ling, the deer park, the colony lanes. Last good chai.

  4. DEL → BOM & DEL → BLR

    Connecting hops home. Land before midnight.
